Research...it continues

One encouraging thing this week, not the only one but one that occurred to me today is that my connection to Michigan Tech isn't just going to end next Thursday when I leave. I'm still working on two different research projects, both with Virginia Rails with one of my professors and those will be continuing, one in the 'writing up the publication' stage and another in the 'getting the samples run' stage. So I'm going to maintain this connection and to some extent involvement with tech.

Not that I planned on dropping off the face of the earth or anything, I love Tech way to much for that. But today, when I'm super tired and pretty stressed it's nice to know that these friendships and connections I've made aren't just going to disappear....but man I am going to miss this place....

and for those who care, look at this cool graph. I spent way to much time today creating it because excel continues to baffle me some days.

It shows the distribution of feathers I have for stable isotope analysis versus the day that they were collected.
